Endoscopy

Endoscopy or “through the mouth” is a method of intervention that is less invasive than surgery with no abdominal incisions required. The endoscope can be used to introduce an intragastric balloon such as the BIB/Orbera 6 monthly balloon. It can also be used to perform endoscopic sleeve gastroplasties or stomal reduction procedures in patients who have had a previous Roux-en-Y gastric bypass.
