Post Operative Diet
Your post-operative diet is designed by your surgeon and dietitian with the healing process in mind. Although it may be tempting to rush or skip through these stages, it is important to follow the progression as designed, as this will ensure that you improve your healing, reduce the risk of complications, prevent nutrient deficiencies and continue your weight loss.
Each person will recover from weight loss surgery differently and lose weight at their own rate. It is important to avoid comparing yourself to others during this time. If you are unsure about what you are feeling and if you are progressing as expected, please contact the clinic where a bariatric team member will be able to discuss any concerns.
