IFSO World Congress to be held in Melbourne in 2024

IFSO is a scientific organization that brings together surgeons and integrated health professionals, such as nurses, practitioners, dieticians, nutritionists, psychologists, internists and anesthesiologists, involved in the treatment of morbidly obese patients.

Melbourne is to host the IFSO World Congress this year in September, which is exciting. All of our Drs will be attending as it is so close to home and they look forward to hearing from surgeons all over the world regarding bariatric surgery.

A/Prof Lilian Kow is a past senior chairman of IFSO and Dr Chisholm is the current president elect of ANZMOSS, which is the Australian Member Society of IFSO. As a practice we are beyond proud to have our surgeons involved in an international federation that enables the sharing of information and new technologies.
